Singapore, March 28, 2026: The High Commission of Pakistan highlighted the country’s rich cultural heritage at the inaugural Open Day hosted by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) in Singapore, offering visitors a vibrant glimpse into Pakistan’s traditions and tourism potential.

The Pakistan pavilion featured a diverse and immersive display, including traditional attire, intricate truck art, high-quality sports goods, aromatic spices, premium rice, books, and tourism materials—reflecting the country’s cultural diversity and economic strengths.

Pakistan’s booth was inaugurated by High Commissioner and ASEF Governor Rabia Shafiq, who underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy in promoting mutual understanding and strengthening international partnerships.

During the event, the High Commissioner briefed ASEF Executive Director Beata Stoczyńska, along with fellow ambassadors and ASEF Governors, on the significance of the items on display—highlighting Pakistan’s cultural traditions, export potential, and key tourist destinations.

Rabia Shafiq also expressed appreciation to Ambassador Stoczyńska for initiating the Open Day, describing it as a valuable platform for countries to showcase their cultural vibrancy and foster meaningful engagement.

The event brought together partners from Asia and Europe, celebrating shared connections through art, dialogue, and cultural exchange.
