Islamabad, March 31,2026: The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Mr. Alisher Tukhtaev held a productive meeting with Mr. Saeed Nadeem Ahmed, Director of one of Pakistan’s leading pharmaceutical companies — The Searle Company Limited.
During the meeting, they discussed the launch of joint investment projects in Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical sector, including the localization of production and the introduction of advanced technologies.
Special emphasis was placed on the production of next-generation medicines, particularly for the treatment of oncology, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes.
Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for international investors and is steadily positioning itself as a regional pharmaceutical hub.
