Lahore, April 1,2026: A significant milestone was achieved with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Sri Lanka Pakistan Business Forum and the Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Pakistan.

This strategic partnership reflects a shared commitment to promote and advance women empowerment through enhanced bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

The MOU was formally signed by Mr. Yasin Joyia, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Pakistan Business Forum, and Mrs. Rubina Amjad, Founder President of the Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The ceremony was further strengthened by the presence of Ms. Kanwal Saeed, Convener Skilled Development Committee FPCCI, whose participation added valuable insight to the discussion on skill development and women’s economic inclusion.

This collaboration marks a new chapter in fostering opportunities, empowering women entrepreneurs, and building stronger economic ties between the two nations.
