Islamabad, April 9, 2026: Pakistan has strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, denouncing it as a grave violation of international law and humanitarian principles.

In an official statement issued by the Office of the Spokesperson, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern over the loss of innocent lives and the widespread destruction of critical infrastructure resulting from the attacks. The statement emphasized that such actions undermine international efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the Middle East.

“Pakistan condemns, in the strongest terms, the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon,” the Foreign Office stated, underscoring that the escalation threatens regional security and disregards fundamental norms of international conduct.

Calling for immediate global intervention, Pakistan urged the international community to take urgent and concrete measures to halt the hostilities. The statement stressed the need for adherence to international law and the protection of civilian populations.

Reaffirming its principled stance, Pakistan reiterated its unwavering solidarity with the Government and people of Lebanon. It also expressed firm support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its pursuit of lasting peace and stability.
