Islamabad, April 11,2026: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has lauded the Pakistan Navy for its successful rescue operation in the North Arabian Sea, praising its officers and personnel for their swift and professional response that saved precious human lives.

In a statement issued by the Senate Secretariat’s Media Directorate, the Chairman commended the Navy’s timely intervention, which led to the safe rescue of 18 foreign nationals. He noted that the operation reflects Pakistan’s positive and responsible role in safeguarding human life at sea.

Gilani described the mission as a testament to the Pakistan Navy’s professionalism, dedication, and spirit of service. He emphasized that the force’s immediate and coordinated response during an emergency demonstrates its high level of training and operational excellence.

Highlighting the broader impact of the operation, the Chairman Senate stated that such humanitarian efforts further strengthen Pakistan’s international image and underscore the country’s commitment to global humanitarian values.
