London, April 13, 2026: In a significant move aimed at improving consular outreach for overseas Pakistanis, the Pakistan High Commission United Kingdom has signed a landmark agreement with Gerrys Visa Services Ltd. to establish a nationwide network of Facilitation Centers across the United Kingdom.
The agreement, concluded during a solemn ceremony, has been approved by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and designates Gerrys Visa Services Ltd. as the sole authorized partner for the provision of selected consular services to the Pakistani diaspora.
The initiative is designed to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and transparency in consular delivery for the estimated two million-strong Pakistani community in the UK.
Under the new framework, facilitation centers will provide a range of services including visa processing, passport assistance, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA)-related documentation, and attestation services. Officials said the system aims to reduce long-distance travel requirements and streamline access to essential public services.
High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom Mohammad Faisal described the initiative as a “people-first reform,” emphasizing that decentralization of services through authorized partners would make consular access faster, safer, and more convenient for overseas Pakistanis.
He further noted that the move would also help address the growing challenge of unauthorized and fraudulent service providers operating in the UK, which have reportedly been involved in overcharging applicants and misusing personal data. The new arrangement, he said, would ensure that sensitive information is handled only through secure and approved channels.
Chairman of Gerrys Visa Services Ltd. Afzal Wali Muhammad expressed gratitude over the trust placed in the company, pledging to deliver transparent, secure, and internationally standardized services for the Pakistani community.
He added that the company is committed to ensuring efficient operations and safeguarding applicants’ data integrity across all facilitation centers.
The first Facilitation Center under the agreement is scheduled to be inaugurated in May 2026, with a phased rollout planned across major cities in the UK. Further details regarding locations and service procedures will be announced in the coming weeks, according to officials.
