Islamabad, April 13, 2026: The High Commissioner of Rwanda to Pakistan Harerimana Fatou met with Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Dr. Qurrait Ul Ain on Monday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting held in Islamabad, both sides explored opportunities to enhance commercial linkages between the business communities of Pakistan and Rwanda, with a particular focus on expanding trade and investment collaboration.

The two sides also agreed to develop a structured partnership with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry to promote greater participation of women in economic and trade activities.

Officials further discussed collaboration in the upcoming Pakistan–Rwanda Business Forum, which is expected to provide a platform for entrepreneurs and investors from both countries to explore new business opportunities and strengthen bilateral economic ties.

The meeting was described as a positive step toward deepening economic engagement and fostering inclusive growth through increased private-sector cooperation between Pakistan and Rwanda.
