Islamabad, April 14, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Romania’s Foreign Minister, Oana-Silvia Toiu, on Tuesday to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
During the conversation, Foreign Minister Toiu appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating the Islamabad Talks, acknowledging Islamabad’s efforts in promoting dialogue and peace amid evolving regional dynamics.
Both leaders welcomed the positive momentum in relations between Pakistan and Romania and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation across various sectors.
They also exchanged views on key regional and global issues, emphasizing the importance of sustained engagement, dialogue, and diplomacy for the peaceful resolution of conflicts and the promotion of international stability.
