Dar meets TRNC FM, focuses on diaspora welfare and bilateral cooperation

Islamabad, April 17, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Foreign Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, with particular emphasis on education and the welfare of the Pakistani diaspora residing in the TRNC.

The two leaders also agreed to maintain close engagement and continue working together to promote mutual benefits for their peoples, reflecting a shared intent to deepen ties and expand collaboration.

The interaction highlights Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic outreach at multilateral forums and its focus on supporting overseas Pakistanis.
