Lahore, October 27,2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2026, scheduled to be held in Oman from November 5 to 14.
Defending champions Pakistan will be captained by Farhan Yousuf and have been placed in Group A alongside India, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the eight-team tournament.
The squad features wicketkeeper-batters Abdul Qadir and Hamza Zahoor, alongside batters Usman Khan, Hayam Khan, Jahangir Bilal and Huzaifa Ahsan.
All-rounders Ahmed Hussain and Hasnain Abbas Dar are also part of the squad, while Abdul Subhan, Mohammad Seyam, Ali Raza and Rizwanullah provide pace-bowling options. Left-arm wrist-spinner Mohammad Huzaifa and left-arm spinner Niqab Shafiq complete the bowling attack.
Of the 15 players selected for the Asia Cup, only Ali Raza and Huzaifa Ahsan were not part of Pakistan’s Under-19 side that defeated England 3-1 in a four-match Youth ODI series in September.
Pakistan will begin their title defence against the UAE on November 6 at the Oman Cricket Academy (OCA) Ground 2. They will face arch-rivals India on November 8 at OCA Ground 1 before taking on Nepal at the same venue on November 10.
In the previous edition, held in the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan clinched the title by defeating India by 191 runs in a one-sided final at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.
Group B for the upcoming tournament comprises Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
The semi-finals will be played on November 12, while the final is scheduled for November 14. All matches involving Pakistan are set to begin at 10am Pakistan Standard Time (PKT).
