Dar meets Bangladesh FM, Discusses regional developments and bilateral ties

Islamabad, April 17, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Khalilur Rahman, Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed avenues to strengthen Pakistan–Bangladesh bilateral relations and exchanged views on key regional developments. The discussions also highlighted Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue on important regional issues.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of engagement and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a forward-looking and constructive partnership.

The meeting reflects continued diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Bangladesh, aimed at enhancing cooperation and promoting regional stability.
