Rawalpindi, November 7, 2024- Four soldiers were martyred, and five terrorists were killed during an encounter in the Karama area of South Waziristan.

The clash occurred on November 6, when Pakistani troops engaged the militants in a fierce firefight. According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the soldiers, Naib Subedar Taib Shah, Lance Naik Gulab Zaman, Lance Naik Muzammil Mehmood, and Lance Naik Habibullah, displayed exceptional bravery but were martyred in the line of duty.

An operation is currently underway to clear the area of any remaining terrorists. The ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s determination to eliminate terrorism, stating, “The sacrifices of our brave soldiers strengthen our resolve to eradicate the menace of terrorism.”
