Islamabad, April 30,2026: The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad hosted a meeting with a delegation led by Fatima Zehra, the Head of the Foreign Missions Unit at HabibMetro Bank, one of the country’s oldest commercial banks and a leading financial institution since 1947.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the financial and banking sectors.
Particular attention was given to establishing direct correspondent relationships, enhancing financial mechanisms, and supporting joint projects.
Both sides expressed their intention to intensify cooperation between the financial institutions of the two countries, which is expected to foster a more favorable business environment and attract increased investment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their confidence in the continued development of constructive dialogue and agreed to maintain regular contact to advance specific areas of cooperation.
