Islamabad, May 2, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Saturday to discuss the evolving regional situation and its broader economic implications.
According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the region and emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in maintaining peace and stability.
During the conversation, Dar highlighted Pakistan’s continued efforts to promote constructive engagement and diplomatic initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region and beyond.
The Kuwaiti foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s sincere efforts for fostering lasting peace and security for the Muslim Ummah as well as the wider international community.
Both sides also reaffirmed the strong fraternal ties between Pakistan and Kuwait and agreed to remain in close contact on regional and international matters of mutual interest.
