Lahore, May 4, 2026: Minority leader Isphanyar Bhandara attended the first anniversary ceremony of Marka-e-Haqq organized by the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Conference at the invitation of Abdul Khabeer Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and Imam of the Badshahi Mosque.
The event brought together religious leaders representing both majority and minority communities, highlighting a collective commitment to national unity, harmony, and interfaith understanding.
Addressing the gathering, Bhandara congratulated the nation and Pakistan’s armed forces on what he described as the successful defense of the country. He stressed the importance of protecting and supporting minority communities, saying Muslim Pakistanis, as the majority, carry a special responsibility to ensure inclusivity and safeguard the rights of minorities.
Participants at the event also emphasized the need to strengthen interfaith cohesion and promote mutual respect as part of Pakistan’s social fabric.
