Yangon, May 5, 2026: Pakistan’s ambassador to Myanmar Tariq Karim met with Myanmar Vice President U Nyo Saw in Nay Pyi Taw to discuss bilateral relations and avenues for expanding cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed longstanding ties between Pakistan and Myanmar and explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration across multiple sectors.
The discussions focused on enhancing trade and economic cooperation, promoting capacity-building initiatives, increasing people-to-people exchanges and boosting tourism links between the two nations.
Both sides acknowledged the historical foundations of Pakistan-Myanmar relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening friendly bilateral engagement and mutual cooperation.
