Ayaz Sadiq expresses grief over demise of Jakhrani's son

Islamabad, May 12, 2026: A Fateha Khawani was held at the Parliament House on Tuesday for the late son of Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Chief Whip of the Pakistan Peoples Party and Member of the National Assembly.

Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic demise and conveyed heartfelt condolences to Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani and his bereaved family.

Addressing the gathering, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq remarked that the loss of a child is an immense tragedy for any parent and described the death of a young son as an irreparable loss that cannot be fully expressed in words.

He said parents attach countless hopes and dreams to their children, and their untimely departure brings deep pain and anguish.

The Speaker further stated that he stood in solidarity with Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani and his family during this difficult time and prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of the departed soul and grant patience and strength to the grieving family.

Federal ministers, senators, members of the National Assembly, representatives of the Parliamentary Reporters Association, civil society members, and officers and officials of the National Assembly Secretariat attended the Fateha Khawani and offered prayers for the departed soul.
