In a statement issued by the National Assembly Secretariat’s Directorate General of Media, the speaker congratulated President of the Lahore Press Club Mr. Arshad Ansari and veteran journalist Mr. Ehtisham Ul Haq on being awarded the Hilal-e-Imtiaz.

He also felicitated Bureau Chief of 92 News Mr. Tariq Aziz and anchorperson of Samaa TV Ms. Kiran Naz on being conferred the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for their valuable services to the media industry and the nation.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said the conferment of civil awards reflects recognition of the recipients’ dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contributions toward promoting credible and responsible journalism in Pakistan.
