Islamabad, May 18, 2026: The Government of Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the drone attacks carried out against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on May 17, terming them a serious violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson, Pakistan said such attacks appear to be an attempt to further destabilize regional peace and security.

The statement said the government and people of Pakistan stand in complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia during the current situation and reaffirmed full and unwavering support for the kingdom’s security, peace, and prosperity.

Pakistan reiterated that any actions undermining the sovereignty of brotherly states are unacceptable and called for efforts to ensure stability in the region.
