Islamabad, May 22, 2026: Ambassador of Russia to Pakistan, Albert P. Khorev, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meeting, the two diplomats discussed key international and regional issues, including the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
Both sides emphasized that peaceful dialogue remains the only viable path for resolving existing disputes and expressed support for Pakistan’s mediation efforts aimed at promoting regional peace and stability.
The ambassadors also exchanged detailed views on the evolving situation in Afghanistan and stressed the importance of coordinated measures to strengthen peace, security, and stability in the region.
