Islamabad, May 22, 2026: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani visited the Dar Ali bin Abi Talib Orphanage and School, where he appreciated the institution’s educational, welfare, and vocational training services for orphaned children.
During the visit, the chairman toured academic and residential facilities, classrooms, vocational training centers, and recreational areas. He also interacted with students and staff members and praised the quality of education, care, and training being provided at the institution.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani commended the efforts of the management and teaching staff in supporting the development and well-being of vulnerable children.
Addressing the gathering, the chairman senate emphasized that the welfare and education of orphaned and underprivileged children were a collective responsibility. He stressed the importance of quality education, skills development, and a supportive environment to help children realize their full potential.
During a briefing, the chairman was informed about the institution’s educational and welfare programmes. He also appreciated the humanitarian contributions of the Muslim World League in supporting welfare initiatives.
Saad Alharthi, Regional Director of the International Islamic Relief Organization, was also present on the occasion and thanked the chairman senate for his visit.
During their interaction, Gilani spoke about the rich history and cultural heritage of Multan and reaffirmed his support for initiatives aimed at improving educational opportunities and welfare services for children from vulnerable segments of society.
