Copenhagen, May 25,2026: The Pakistani community in Denmark, in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan in Copenhagen, organized a vibrant Eid Bazar ahead of the upcoming Eid celebrations, drawing diplomats, international guests, and thousands of visitors from across the country.

The event showcased Pakistan’s cultural diversity, hospitality, cuisine, and craftsmanship, while also strengthening cultural and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and the international community in Denmark.

The Eid Bazar was inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Denmark, Shoaib Sarwar, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by diplomats, community leaders, and distinguished guests.

Ambassadors and representatives from 17 countries participated in the event, including Spain, Algeria, South Africa, China, Republic of Korea, Philippines, Romania, Bangladesh, Iraq, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, among others.

Visitors explored a wide range of traditional Pakistani products, including dresses, jewelry, textiles, handicrafts, and festive decorations. Pakistani cuisine—featuring popular items such as samosa chaat and kulfi—proved to be a major attraction for attendees.

The henna (mehndi) section and vibrant cultural fashion displays also received strong appreciation from international guests, who praised the colors, creativity, and festive spirit of the event.

Organizers said the bazar provided an important platform for cultural exchange, community engagement, and networking, allowing visitors to experience Pakistan’s traditions, music, hospitality, and festive atmosphere in an inclusive and celebratory environment.
