Rawalpindi, November 13, 2024-Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has issued a final call for a mass protest in Islamabad on November 24. Speaking to media outside Adiala Jail, Imran Khan’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, confirmed the announcement and stated that a committee has been formed to organize the demonstrations.

The protest is expected to be held nationwide, with a particular emphasis on Islamabad. While the members of the organizing committee remain undisclosed to prevent potential arrests, Chaudhry emphasized that the PTI leadership is committed to pressing for the acceptance of their demands.

Imran Khan outlined the reasons behind the protest, citing opposition to the recently passed 26th amendment and the alleged illegal detention of PTI workers. He described it as the “final protest call,” aimed at reclaiming the party’s mandate.

The protest will be led by key PTI leaders, with roles clearly defined for each participant. An empowered committee will have the authority to call off the demonstration if demands are met. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is also set to lead PTI workers to Islamabad.

Meanwhile, Aleema Khan, Imran Khan’s sister, has confirmed that November 24 will be the day for the final protest in Islamabad.
