Islamabad, June 11, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Thursday, during which the two leaders discussed regional developments and underscored the importance of continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Abdelatty appreciated Pakistan’s ongoing mediation efforts aimed at promoting regional peace and stability. Both leaders expressed optimism that the diplomatic initiatives currently underway would help achieve an early understanding among the concerned parties and contribute to lasting peace in the region.

During the conversation, Foreign Minister Abdelatty extended an invitation to Senator Ishaq Dar to attend the upcoming meeting of the Regional Four (R-4) Foreign Ministers, scheduled to be held in Egypt later this month. The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister accepted the invitation.

The two sides also agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on matters of mutual interest and regional significance.
