Ayaz Sadiq condoles death of former senator Taj Muhammad Afridi

Islamabad, June 12, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Friday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of former Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi, paying tribute to his valuable contributions to parliament and public service.

In a condolence message, the Speaker described the late Taj Muhammad Afridi as a sincere, dignified, and dedicated parliamentarian who played an important role in strengthening democratic values and institutions in the country.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the services rendered by the former senator for parliamentary democracy would always be remembered with respect and appreciation. He noted that Afridi’s commitment to public welfare and democratic principles earned him admiration across political circles.

The Speaker termed the sudden demise of Taj Muhammad Afridi an irreparable loss not only for his family but also for all those who knew and respected him.

Expressing heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the departed soul the highest ranks in Jannah and bless the family with patience and strength to bear the loss.
