Lahore, July 3, 2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to 14 Pakistani cricketers, allowing them to participate in overseas franchise leagues scheduled later this month, including the 2026 Global Super League (GSL) and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

According to the PCB, Mohammad Haris, Shahab Khan, Mohammad Naeem, Abdullah Shafique, Farhan Yousaf, Shamyl Hussain, Mehran Mumtaz, Usman Khan, Ali Shabbir, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Basit and Khalil Ahmed have been granted NOCs for the 2026 Global Super League.

The tournament will be played at Providence Stadium in Providence, Guyana, from July 23 to August 1.

The five-team competition will feature Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 champions Lahore Qalandars alongside Australia’s Perth Scorchers, UAE’s Desert Vipers, USA’s San Francisco Unicorns and Caribbean Premier League side Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Lahore Qalandars will begin their campaign against Perth Scorchers on July 23, followed by a clash against Desert Vipers on July 24. They will then face Guyana Amazon Warriors on July 26 before wrapping up their league-stage fixtures against San Francisco Unicorns on July 29.

Among the players granted NOCs for the tournament, Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Naeem and Mohammad Farooq are set to represent the three-time PSL champions Lahore Qalandars.

The franchise affiliations of the remaining Pakistani players for the tournament have not yet been officially confirmed by either the PCB or the participating teams.

Separately, Maaz Sadaqat has been issued an NOC to participate in the 2026 Caribbean Premier League, which is scheduled to be held across the West Indies from August 7 to September 20.

The upcoming CPL season will feature seven teams for the first time, with Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Jamaica Kingsmen, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Saint Lucia Kings, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders competing for the title.

The issuance of NOCs will allow the Pakistani players to take part in overseas franchise cricket during the window approved by the PCB, as the board continues to regulate player participation in foreign leagues through its central clearance process.
