Islamabad, July 7, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday chaired a meeting to review Pakistan’s ongoing engagement with various multilateral initiatives.
According to the Foreign Office, Dar was briefed on preparations for a number of upcoming high-level events and reviewed Pakistan’s participation in different multilateral forums.
During the meeting, the deputy prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening multilateralism and issued necessary directions regarding the country’s normative positions at various international forums.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, Special Secretary (UN), Additional Secretary (Asia Pacific), and other senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
