Haripur, july 09: H.E. Mr. Rongvudhi Virabutr, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, accompanied by Col. Nikhom Chumpoo, Defense and Military Attach, visited the National Radio Telecommunication Cooperation (NRTC) in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where they met with Brigadier Azmat Shabbir, Managing Director and other NRTC executives,the other day.
Key points of discussion included during the visit ,Transfer of technology and technical capacity-building through trainings.Joint research and development (R&D) to meet modern security challenges.Development and upgrading of Thailands telecommunication equipment with NRTCs technology.
The Ambassador and Defense Attach were briefed on NRTCs missions and given a tour of its manufacturing and testing facilities which reflect the strong commitment of NRTC to expand its cooperation with Thailand.
NRTC is a federal government organisation under the Ministry of Defense Production, founded in 1966 to develop communication equipment and security technologies for the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, both within and outside Pakistan.
