Islamabad July 18,2026: Chairperson of the National Commission on the Rights of Child (NCRC), Ayesha Raza Farooq, met with Paulo Miguel Guedes Domingues, Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan.
During the meeting they discussed the Commission’s mandate and its ongoing efforts to advance and protect the rights of children across Pakistan.
During the meeting, the Chairperson highlighted the Commission’s work in strengthening child protection systems, advancing policy and legislative reforms, promoting institutional development, and enhancing oversight of child rights.
Both sides also explored opportunities for collaboration to further promote the rights and well-being of children in Pakistan.
