Islamabad, July 19, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met President of the National Party Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and the party’s parliamentary members on July 18 to discuss issues relating to the development and welfare of Balochistan.
During the meeting, Dar reiterated the federal government’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the people of Balochistan and supporting their legitimate aspirations for economic prosperity and development within the framework of the Constitution of Pakistan.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch thanked the deputy prime minister for the meeting and said the National Party was prepared to work with all stakeholders for the betterment and welfare of the people of Balochistan. He also stated that insurgents operating in the province neither enjoyed public support nor possessed legitimacy in the eyes of the people of Balochistan.
Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah Khan and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa also attended the meeting.
