Islamabad, July 20, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand in Islamabad on Monday to review bilateral relations and discuss regional and international developments.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed recent progress in Pakistan-Canada ties and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
They also agreed to expand cooperation in priority sectors and decided to hold annual meetings to review progress on the implementation of the agreed Joint Statement.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on key regional and international issues of mutual interest.
