Islamabad, July 20, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday underscored the importance Pakistan attaches to its longstanding fraternal relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during a meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Shafqat Ali Khan.
During the meeting, Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across all sectors.
He directed the ambassador to work towards deepening economic and investment ties between the two countries while enhancing collaboration for the welfare of the large Pakistani community residing in the UAE.
The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s desire to further expand its close partnership with the UAE through strengthened political, economic and people-to-people relations.
