Islamabad, July 23,2026: Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Pakistan Dr. Ihab Abdelhamid has highlighted the growing momentum in Egypt-Pakistan relations, reaffirming his country’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation.
In a message on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of Egypt’s 1952 Revolution, the Ambassador extended warm greetings to the Government and people of Pakistan on Egypt’s National Day.
He said the July 23 Revolution marked a defining chapter in Egypt’s modern history and laid the foundations for a state based on independence, national dignity and sustainable development.
Dr. Ihab Abdelhamid said Egypt continues its comprehensive development journey while remaining firmly committed to peace, regional stability, dialogue and international cooperation.
He said Egypt and Pakistan enjoy longstanding and distinguished relatio ns based on mutual repect, shared values and close ties between the peoples of the two countries.
The Ambassador noted that bilateral partnership has expanded over the years across political, economic, cultural, educational and defence fields.
He particularly highlighted the significant momentum gained by Egypt-Pakistan relations over the past two years, supported by an active exchange of high-level visits.
The two visits of Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty to Pakistan, along with the visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar to Egypt, reflect the strong political will on both sides to further deepen bilateral cooperation, he said.
These high-level exchanges have strengthened political consultations, broadened cooperation in key sectors and laid the groundwork for a more dynamic and forward-looking relationship between the two brotherly nations, the Ambassador added.
Dr. Ihab Abdelhamid said Egypt reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with Pakistan to further strengthen the strategic partnership and unlock the considerable potential for cooperation in trade, investment, connectivity, tourism, education, culture and people-to-people exchanges.
The Egyptian Ambassador also expressed appreciation for the warmth, hospitality and friendship extended to him by the Government and people of Pakistan.
He expressed confidence that the bonds between Egypt and Pakistan would continue to grow in the coming years, bringing greater prosperity and shared success to the peoples of both countries.
He said the deep and enduring friendship between Egypt and Pakistan would continue to flourish and bring the two countries and their peoples ever closer together.
