Lahore, July 23, 2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced the schedule for Pakistan men’s five-match One-Day International (ODI) tour of England, with the series to be played from May 15 to 26, 2027, as part of both teams’ preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.
The World Cup is scheduled to be jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia from October 4 to November 21, 2027.
The ODI series will begin in Southampton on May 15, followed by the second match in Manchester on May 19. The third ODI will be played in Leeds on May 21, while Chester-le-Street will host the fourth fixture on May 23. The fifth and final ODI is scheduled to take place in Cardiff on May 26.
The tour is expected to provide both sides with valuable match practice ahead of cricket’s showpiece event. Pakistan are currently ranked fifth in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings, while England occupy seventh place.
Before the England tour, Pakistan are currently playing a two-match Test series in the West Indies. The national side will also return to England next month for a three-match Test series, scheduled from August 19 to September 13, 2026.
Pakistan last toured England for an ODI series in 2021, when the hosts completed a 3-0 clean sweep. Despite the series defeat, Pakistan captain Babar Azam emerged as the leading run-scorer with 177 runs in three matches, including a brilliant 158 in the third ODI.
Pakistan and England have met 91 times in ODI cricket. England hold the upper hand with 56 victories, while Pakistan have won 32 matches. The remaining threea fixtures ended in either a tie or no result.
