Islamabad, July 24, 2026: Petroleum Exploration (Pvt.) Ltd. (PEL) hosted a farewell dinner in honour of the ambassadors of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, recognising their contributions to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting international cooperation.
The event brought together senior government officials, diplomats and members of the diplomatic community in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect.
Among the distinguished guests were Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Amjad Hussain.
The reception was also attended by the ambassadors of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Somalia and Turkmenistan, along with other diplomats and dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, PEL acknowledged the valuable role played by the ambassadors of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in promoting closer cooperation and strengthening ties between Pakistan and their respective countries during their diplomatic assignments.
The company expressed gratitude for their dedicated service and wished both envoys success in their future assignments and continued contributions to international diplomacy.
