Islamabad, July 26, 2026: Pakistan on Sunday extended warm greetings to the Government and people of the Republic of Maldives on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.
In a message issued by the Government of Pakistan, Islamabad conveyed its heartfelt felicitations to the Maldivian leadership and its people.
“Pakistan extends its heartiest felicitations to the Government and the people of the Republic of Maldives. Happy Independence Day,” the message said.
Pakistan and the Maldives enjoy longstanding friendly relations and continue to cooperate closely in bilateral, regional and multilateral forums. The two countries have consistently reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
