Harare, July 26, 2026: India completed a dominant 3-0 clean sweep of the T20I series against Zimbabwe after securing a convincing 35-run victory in the third and final match at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday.

Opting to bat first, India posted a formidable 192-5 in their allotted 20 overs, powered by a superb knock from young opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and valuable contributions from Ishan Kishan, captain Shreyas Iyer and Rinku Singh.

Sooryavanshi was the standout performer, scoring a brilliant 81 off 49 deliveries, featuring eight fours and four sixes. Kishan contributed 29 from 26 balls with four boundaries, while Iyer added a quick 27 off 18 deliveries, including two fours.

Rinku Singh provided late momentum with a brisk 25 off 14 balls, striking two fours and a six, while Tilak Varma chipped in with 11 from nine deliveries. Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for just two runs.

For Zimbabwe, Brad Evans was the most successful bowler, claiming 2-41 in his four overs. Sikandar Raza, Blessing Muzarabani and Wessly Madhevere picked up one wicket each.

Chasing 193 for victory, Zimbabwe were restricted to 157-7 despite a fighting half-century from Ryan Burl after suffering an early collapse, with captain Sikandar Raza and opener Brian Bennett both dismissed for first-ball ducks.

Burl top-scored with 54 off 43 balls, hitting five fours, while Madhevere scored 28 from 25 deliveries, including one four and two sixes. Ben Curran made 20 off 19 balls with two boundaries, and Dion Myers contributed 19 from 15 deliveries, striking one four and a six.

India’s bowlers maintained control throughout the innings, with Mayank Yadav leading the attack by taking 3-29 from four overs. Yash Thakur claimed two wickets, while Ashok Sharma and Ravi Bishnoi took one wicket each.

The comprehensive victory sealed a 3-0 series whitewash for India, underlining their dominance throughout the tour.
