Islamabad, August 12, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Belarusian Minister of Energy Dzenis Maroz at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Wednesday, with both sides expressing satisfaction over the positive trajectory of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the two sides recalled the visits of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Islamabad and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Minsk, reaffirming their resolve to build on the momentum generated by high-level exchanges and sustain leadership-level interactions.
The discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in key areas, particularly trade, industry, agriculture and connectivity.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen institutional mechanisms to translate the growing momentum in Pakistan-Belarus relations into tangible and mutually beneficial outcomes.
The meeting underscored the two countries’ commitment to broadening bilateral engagement and strengthening economic and institutional cooperation in priority sectors.
