Islamabad, August 14, 2026: Ambassador of Turkmenistan and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Atadjan Movlamov has extended heartfelt felicitations to the government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of the country’s 79th Independence Day.
In his message, the ambassador commended Pakistan’s growing diplomatic stature and proactive engagement in regional affairs, particularly its constructive role in promoting dialogue and facilitating a critical ceasefire.
Movlamov highlighted the longstanding friendship between Turkmenistan and Pakistan, describing bilateral relations as deeply rooted in mutual respect, shared cultural affinities and a common vision of peace, stability and prosperity.
He expressed confidence that the partnership between the two countries would continue to expand, creating greater opportunities for their peoples while contributing to peace and stability in the region.
As Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, the ambassador also expressed appreciation to the Government of Pakistan, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other state institutions, for their professionalism, courtesy and continued support extended to the diplomatic community.
He praised the hospitality and generosity of the Pakistani people and acknowledged the important contributions of the Pakistani media and business community toward promoting dialogue, cooperation and stronger international relations.
The Turkmen ambassador concluded his message by wishing Pakistan continued peace, unity, progress and prosperity, while praying for the health, happiness and well-being of its people.
