Islamabad, August 21, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday chaired a meeting to review Pakistan’s forthcoming high-level diplomatic engagements scheduled to take place over the coming weeks.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on key substantive priorities and Pakistan’s diplomatic objectives in connection with the upcoming engagements.
Ishaq Dar provided guidance on advancing Pakistan’s foreign policy priorities through the planned high-level interactions and reviewed preparations for the engagements.
The deputy prime minister stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful conduct of the upcoming diplomatic activities.
Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the meeting.
The review comes as Pakistan continues to intensify high-level diplomatic engagement with key partners and international stakeholders on regional and global issues.
