Islamabad, August 24, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Monday and discussed bilateral relations, regional developments and matters of mutual interest.
According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening the close and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.
During the conversation, Dar stressed that dialogue and diplomacy remained the only way forward for achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
The deputy prime minister also emphasised the importance of implementing the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in letter and spirit as part of efforts to address regional tensions through peaceful means.
The discussion underscored Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement with regional partners and its emphasis on dialogue, diplomacy and negotiated solutions to regional conflicts.
