Islamabad, August 31, 2026: Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary and Secretary-General of the OIC Arbitration Centre Dr. Umar A. Oseni held a meeting on Sunday to explore opportunities for institutional cooperation, professional training, capacity building and knowledge exchange.
During the meeting, Prof. Choudhary briefed the OIC Arbitration Centre delegation on OIC-COMSTECH’s programmes and initiatives aimed at advancing science, technology, innovation and higher education across OIC member states.
Dr. Oseni appreciated the expanding activities of OIC-COMSTECH and acknowledged its important contribution to strengthening scientific, technological and educational cooperation among member countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
The two sides discussed potential areas for future collaboration, with particular focus on professional training, institutional capacity building and the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
They also expressed interest in developing practical avenues for cooperation that could benefit institutions and professionals across OIC member states.
The meeting was also attended by Aisha Rasool, Senior Consultant at the Ministry of Law and Justice and Project Director of the International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (IMAC), and Ehsan Ullah Khan, Registrar of IMAC.
The engagement underscored the shared interest of the institutions in building stronger professional and knowledge networks and promoting greater institutional cooperation within the OIC framework.
