Islamabad, September 4, 2026: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on becoming the longest continuously serving prime minister in Italy’s post-war history.
In his message, Prime Minister Shehbaz said Italy had made significant progress under Meloni’s leadership and strengthened its stature on the global stage.
He expressed his desire to continue working closely with the Italian prime minister to further strengthen Pakistan-Italy relations across multiple areas of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also conveyed his best wishes to Meloni for continued success in the years ahead.
