Lahore, September 5,2026: The Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan, Dan Stoenescu, received a warm traditional Punjabi welcome in Lahore on the first day of his official visit to the city.
The visit is focused on promoting trade and investment, strengthening business relations, and expanding diplomatic contacts between Romania and Pakistan, with particular emphasis on enhancing cooperation with the province of Punjab.
During his visit, Ambassador Stoenescu experienced the rich traditions and renowned hospitality of Punjab at the Lahore Organic Village. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Kaiser Rafiq for the warm welcome and for showcasing the region’s vibrant culture, traditions, and hospitality.
