Islamabad, September 8, 2026: Pakistan has strongly condemned Houthi attacks targeting civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, describing them as a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Tuesday, Pakistan condemned in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against civilian and economic targets in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran.

The Foreign Office said the attacks posed a threat to peace and stability across the region and undermined international efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful and durable resolution of the conflict in Yemen.

Pakistan reiterated its unwavering support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and prosperity and expressed complete solidarity with the Kingdom’s leadership, government and people.

The Foreign Office also conveyed its sincere wishes for the swift and full recovery of those injured in the attacks.

Reaffirming its position under the UN Charter and international law, Pakistan said it fully supported Saudi Arabia’s legitimate right to take all necessary measures to defend its territory, protect its citizens and residents and safeguard its national assets against any threat.

“Pakistan has been and will continue to make all efforts for achieving lasting peace and stability in the region,” the Foreign Office said
