Abbottabad, September 13, 2026: Salman Ali Agha smashed a magnificent unbeaten triple century as Kingsmen Academy piled up 565-7 declared against IT Solutions on the second day of their President’s Trophy Grade-I match at Abbottabad Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Resuming at their overnight total, Kingsmen continued their dominant batting display before declaring after 131.1 overs, with Agha scoring an unbeaten 300 off 336 balls. His record-breaking innings included 42 boundaries and six sixes.
Muhammad Suleman also made a significant contribution, scoring 115 off 219 deliveries, including 13 fours and two sixes.
Muhammad Shayan added 34 off 71 balls, while Azan Tariq scored a brisk 31 off 31 deliveries with four boundaries and a six. Mohammad Hurraira contributed 30 off 58 balls, while Muhammad Arshad made 27 off 40 deliveries.
For IT Solutions, Salman Aslam was the most successful bowler with 2-70 from 24 overs. Mohammad Ismaeel, Khubaib Khalil, Sumama Riaz and Zahid Mansoor took one wicket each.
In reply, IT Solutions reached 179-3 in 31 overs at stumps, still 386 runs behind.
Mohammad Farooq led their resistance with an unbeaten 107 off just 95 balls, hitting 11 boundaries and five sixes. He will resume his innings alongside Mohammad Riazullah, who is yet to score.
Atiq-ur-Rehman scored 36 off 47 balls, while Salman Khan made 22 off 33 deliveries. Opener Husnain Nadeem was dismissed for four.
KRL declare on 547-9 against Ghani Glass
At the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, centuries from Fakhar Zaman and Imran Rafiq helped Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) post a commanding 547-9 declared against Ghani Glass.
Resuming at 371-5, KRL continued their strong batting performance and declared after 122.4 overs.
Rafiq top-scored with 129 off 176 deliveries, smashing 19 boundaries, while Asim Ali Nasir made a brisk 87 off 128 balls, including 10 fours and two sixes.
Returning pacer Shaheen Afridi also contributed with the bat, scoring 47 off 49 balls with two fours and three sixes. Muhammad Junaid and Arshad Iqbal added 43 and 15 respectively.
Ghulam Haider was Ghani Glass’s leading bowler, taking 4-119 in 29.4 overs, while Mohammad Waseem Jr claimed three wickets. Ali Raza and Hussain Talat took one wicket each.
Fakhar had earlier top-scored for KRL on the opening day with 128 off 136 balls, including 16 fours and two sixes. Abdul Faseeh and Shahzaib Khan scored 36 each, while Iftikhar Ahmed contributed 23.
Rafiq and Asim then added a century partnership to push KRL beyond the 350-run mark.
Ghani Glass reached 200-5 by stumps and still trail by 347 runs. Haseebullah Khan was unbeaten on 50, while Ali Razzaq was 20 not out.
Sharjeel Khan was Ghani Glass’s top scorer with 59 off 89 balls, while Tahir Baig made 34 off 42 deliveries.
SNGPL take three-run lead over SBP
At the Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) secured a three-run first-innings lead over State Bank of Pakistan (SBP on the second day of their Grade-I match.
Resuming at 42-3, SBP were bowled out for 158 in 62.2 overs. Mubasir Khan remained unbeaten on 62 off 114 balls, while Rameez Aziz scored 27. Sirajuddin and Kamran Ghulam contributed 16 and 11 respectively.
Ahmed Safi Abdullah and Khan Zeb claimed three wickets each for SNGPL, while Shehzad Gul took two and Shahnawaz Dahani one.
SNGPL reached 161-5 in 51 overs by the close of play. Omair Bin Yousuf narrowly missed a half-century, scoring 49 off 103 balls, while Sameer Minhas and Awaiz contributed 24 and 26 respectively.
Abdul Samad was unbeaten on 24 and Zeid Bin Nadeem on 17 at stumps.
Haris Rauf stars as PTV gain upper hand over OGDCL
At Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad, pacer Haris Rauf claimed four wickets while Mohammad Taha struck 134 as Pakistan Television (PTV) gained the upper hand against Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).
Resuming at 131-3, PTV were bowled out for 400 in 106.1 overs.
Taha top-scored with 134 off 234 balls, hitting 17 boundaries and two sixes, while Sharoon Siraj narrowly missed a century with 92 off 155 deliveries, including 10 fours and four sixes.
Amad Butt added an attacking 37 off 38 balls, while Faisal Akram and Mohammad Taimur Khan scored 17 each and Mohammad Shahzad made 21.
Danish Aziz was OGDCL’s best bowler with 3-60 from 17 overs. Muhammad Amir Khan took two wickets, while Niaz Khan, Mohammad Hammad Khan, Mohammad Irfan and Saad Khan claimed one apiece.
OGDCL ended the day at 90-5 in 31 overs, trailing by 310 runs.
Rohail Nazir scored 28 off 59 balls, while Saad Khan made 27 off 52 deliveries. Rauf produced an impressive spell of 4-21 from seven overs, with Sharoon Siraj taking the other wicket.
Danish Aziz and Mohammad Salman were unbeaten on five and nought respectively and will resume the innings on day three.
