Islamabad, September 17,2026: Turkmenistan and Switzerland have discussed prospects for further strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The discussions took place during a meeting at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad between Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Movlamov and Ambassador-designate of the Swiss Confederation to Pakistan Stéphane Rey.
The two sides exchanged views on regional and international developments, including the current situation in Afghanistan.
They noted that, as countries pursuing policies of neutrality, Turkmenistan and Switzerland have significant potential to deepen bilateral engagement and enhance joint efforts to promote peace, security and stability in the region and beyond.
