Islamabad, September 21, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In a condolence message, Ishaq Dar said Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s long years of service to Dubai’s security and development, as well as his contributions to the UAE Armed Forces, would be remembered.
On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan and on his own behalf, the Deputy Prime Minister extended heartfelt condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Al Maktoum family and the people of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
He prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and give patience and strength to the bereaved family.
