Islamabad, September 23,2026: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC), Islamabad, has arrested a suspect involved in an Australia visa fraud case following the completion of Inquiry No. 644/2024.
According to the FIA, the investigation established that the accused had received Rs277,635 from the complainant on the promise of arranging an Australian visa. However, the suspect neither provided the promised visa nor returned the money.
During the arrest, the FIA recovered the entire amount of Rs277,635 from the accused and secured it for the complainant.
The FIA said the role of other individuals allegedly involved in the case would also be determined during the ongoing investigation.
The case is being investigated by Inspector Muhammad Abdullah Kiani.
The FIA Islamabad Zone reiterated its commitment to bringing those involved in visa fraud and human trafficking to justice, stressing that no one is above the law.
