Islamabad, November 5,2026: Mövenpick Hotel Centaurus Islamabad, in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Pakistan, The Bank of Punjab and Alliance Française Islamabad, hosted a special culinary event titled ‘Goût de France – A French Culinary Affair’ at its Embers restaurant on Level 20, offering guests an authentic taste of French gastronomy.
The exclusive evening featured renowned French guest chef Maxime Delaboudinière, who presented a specially curated five-course menu showcasing the richness, sophistication and culinary traditions of France.
The evening began with scallop tartare accompanied by cucumber, lime, Penja pepper and pomegranate, followed by roasted butternut squash cream with toasted walnuts and morel emulsion.
The main courses featured slow-cooked chicken served with carrots prepared in different styles, followed by confit beef chuck with reduced meat jus, mushrooms, roasted cauliflower and potato mousseline.
The culinary journey concluded with chocolate mousse complemented by virgin olive oil, fleur de sel and toasted hazelnuts.
The specially curated Good France Menu brought together classic French cooking techniques, carefully selected ingredients and refined flavours, offering guests an opportunity to experience the diversity of French cuisine.
The evening was further enhanced by live jazz performances, creating an elegant atmosphere where gastronomy, music and cultural appreciation came together.
